Pisco Sour Cocktail

Total Time: 5 minutes

After travelling through South America we had the opportunity to discover Pisco and learn to make this Peruvian and Chilean Cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz pisco
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 drops, angostura bitters

Directions:

  1. Add pisco, lime juice, simple syrup and egg white into an ice filled shaker. Shake.
  2. Pour over ice and garnish with bitters.

Note:

  • Simple Syrup is made by boiling equal parts sugar and water, stirring until sugar has dissolved
  • We used El Gobernador Pisco sourced from the LCBO in Ontario, although any Pisco works
  • Substitute with whisky for a whisky Sour
