After travelling through South America we had the opportunity to discover Pisco and learn to make this Peruvian and Chilean Cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz pisco
- 1 oz lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 3 drops, angostura bitters
Directions:
- Add pisco, lime juice, simple syrup and egg white into an ice filled shaker. Shake.
- Pour over ice and garnish with bitters.
Note:
- Simple Syrup is made by boiling equal parts sugar and water, stirring until sugar has dissolved
- We used El Gobernador Pisco sourced from the LCBO in Ontario, although any Pisco works
- Substitute with whisky for a whisky Sour
